French Manicures

hey all- i just joined this group. i'm part of a group that's created a product that makes it really easy to give yourself a french manicure at home. it comes with different color paint cartridges as well as the traditional white. i'm trying to figure out how interested people would be in getting it and it would really help if you guys took my survey!

it's really short and easy to take and you can find it here: survey!

thanks!

ps. i hope that this is an okay post to make in this community. if not i'll take it down.

I am the co-mod of the Livejournal community Nail Art.

You posted with an "apology" that if it was not okay, you would take the post down.

If you had bothered to read our Community rules, you would have known it was "not okay".

If you wish to continue to enjoy the wonderful world that is LJ, I would suggest you start reading Community rules and the guidelines of individual journals, or you will find yourself less than welcome.

I am being civil and polite because you are obviously new. Please learn from this experience.

You are no longer an allowed poster at Nail Art. If you would like to become a contributing member of our active and vibrant community, please post on MY journal.

Thanks,
AT

i deleted it, but actually it seems as though all it says in the info section is:

Posts may include any of the following:

★ Scans from magazines of nail art.
★ Pictures of your own nail art creations.
★ Nail art tutorials.
★ Pictures of celebrities sporting their nail art.
★ Information on beauty schools and institutions that offer instruction on nail art.
★ Anything else that's relevant.

Sales on this community are restricted to relevant items, such as magazines featuring nail art, accessories for nails, etc.

i wasn't making a sales pitch and i think that asking people to take a survey about nail polish is relevant to nail art.

anyways sorry to offend the unwritten rules.

I should have been more specific.
I am the co-mod of nail_art. (Note the underscore)

The rules are quite "written"...

Your post was a promotion.

I understand that you are new, which I mentioned in my first post. It is for this reason that I am not being rude or angry - just informing you as to why your post is no longer there.

I hope as you learn and get to know how things work here that your LJ experience is a positive one.
